Bengali Honours (B.A Hons)
Eligibility Criteria for Bengali Honours:
There are two main criteria:
- Minimum of 50% in Best of Four Subjects.
- Minimum of 45% in Bengali.
- You can apply if both of the above two criteria are met.
Available Generic Subjects:
You can only select PHILOSOPHY (PHIG) or SANSKRIT (SANG) and HISTORY (HISG) as your generic subjects.
Available Generic Subjects Combinations:
Philosophy (PHIG) & History (HISG)
— PHIG (SEM 1) – PHIG (SEM 2) – HISG (SEM 3) – HISG (SEM4)
OR
Sanskrit (SANG) & History (HISG)
— SANG (SEM 1) – SANG (SEM 2) – HISG (SEM 3) – HISG (SEM4)

Excluded Subjects:
