Important Information
Eligibility Criteria for Sanskrit 4 Year B.A Honours Course:
FOR General Categories:
You can apply if you meet any one of the three criteria below:
- Minimum of 50% in Best of Four Subjects AND Minimum of 45% in Sanskrit.
OR
- Minimum of 55% in Sanskrit.
OR
- Minimum of 50% in Best of Four Subjects if you did not have Sanskrit in Class 12.
You can apply even if you didn’t have Sanskrit in your class 12th Exam.
FOR SC/ST Categories:
You can apply if either of the two criteria below are met:
- Minimum of 40% in Best of Four Subjects.
OR
- Minimum of 40% in Sanskrit.
Available Minor Subjects:
You can only select certain combinations of Bengali (BNGG), Sociology (SOCG) & Philosophy (PHIG) as your minor subjects.
Available Minor Subjects Combinations:
- PHIG & BNGG
- PHIG & SOCG
Excluded Subjects:
